Little Egg Harbor police said officers responded to the robbery report at around 10:26 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24. It happened near the 7-Eleven on Radio Road.
When police arrived, they found out that 21-year-old Christian Heri of Brick Township and two boys stole several items from the victim. The suspects left the scene in a black minivan.
Tuckerton police eventually stopped the minivan. The three suspects were arrested and officers found a 9mm handgun inside the vehicle.
Heri was charged with robbery, theft, possession of a handgun without a permit, and possession of a high-capacity magazine. He was held in the Ocean County Jail.
Charges for the two boys are pending a review by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
